I worked for John between 1985-89. John always was diligent and hard working. Yes, we had disagreements, but I always learned to work smarter, not just harder.
I talked with him from time to time, yet it was never enough. We worked very well together and had a very strong respect for one another. I can still remember his strong, direct voice as well as his sense of humor. In a way I wish it was 1989 again. Til we meet again John

I was shocked to learn of John’s. What a great person. Always willing to help out with the Union Fire Department and st the historical museum. My heartfelt sympathies to Kathy, family and friends.
