James B. Trumbower Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James B. Trumbower, 55, of Burlington passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 19, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. He was born March 24, 1966, in Winfield, IL the son of Charles and Marian (Bass) Trumbower. Jim was a member of the 1984 Class of Burlington Central High School. He worked for Nicor Gas for 31 years. Jim was an avid sports fan, loved to play golf, followed football, especially the Bears, and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. He always enjoyed a good laugh. He will be deeply missed by his son, Kyle James Trumbower of Elgin; a sister, Pamela B. Mertel of Peru, IL; brothers, Frederick B. (Leslie) Trumbower, of Lincolnton, NC; and Robert B. (Jeannie) Trumbower of North Fort Myers, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Charles B. Trumbower. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, Jan. 26 at Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St., Hampshire. Burial will follow in the Burlington Twp. Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the Fredrick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made in his memory to the James B.
